Couplehood as a Spiritual Path
Public Lecture by Harville Hendrix on Valentine's Day

This lecture invites couples to learn how their relationship is an invitation for spiritual growth and healing.

Committed partnership can be one of the most accessible ways of experiencing God's love, but it does not always feel that way. No matter how hard couples try, it is not always easy to "will" love unconditionally. Achieving and sustaining this kind of love requires an investment of time and energy and a willingness to transcend our usual patterns.

Getting The Love You Want Couples Workshop

The Getting the Love You Want Workshop for Couples Includes a mix of lectures, guided imagery exercises, partner's dialogue and communication processes. A workbook guides you through exercises during and after the workshop.

Note: This couples workshop is a prerequisite for therapists who may wish to proceed with further training that will lead to becoming a Certified Imago Therapist.

Professional Workshop
Imago Relationship Therapy Training - An Introduction

Day 1 will be presented by Harville Hendrix, PhD, and day 2 will be presented by Brenda Rawlings and Peter McMillan, Certified Imago Clinical Instructors and Faculty Members of the Imago International Institute.

These two days are the equivalent of the first two days of the 12 day Basic Clinical Training in Imago Relationship Therapy. Brenda and Peter will deliver the remainder of the training program, which leads to Certification as an Imago Therapist, in Melbourne and Sydney, beginning in June 2010. See Basic Clinical Training.

Imago Relationship Therapy is a coherent and comprehensive theory and practice which enables practitioners to gain an in-depth understanding of relationship dynamics and an effective method for working with couples. Couples learn to create emotional safety and intimacy in their relationship, to move from reactivity to intentionality and to renew the love, passion, and possibility of their life together.

Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD, are the innovative thinkers behind this comprehensive and effective method for conducting couples therapy.
